I started Yoga at the Edinburgh Iyengar Centre in the mid nineties and first qualified to teach in 2008 with a further qualification in 2012. I am as much in awe of Yoga now as I was when I started. It benefits the whole of my life as a painter, wife and mother.
I love Iyengar Yoga because of its thoroughness and precision. It is a joy of a discipline. As we practise we learn more about ourselves; our strengths and our weaknesses. It's inspiring to find that the body can and does change and we really can move through our limitations. Yoga brings a sense of being at ease within ourselves.
